Blissful Full-day Retreat Including Kit and Training for Self Massage

Hello and welcome,

I can’t quite believe we’re nearing the end of our second block of 2023, it’s the last week of the series for most classes before the Easter break. Thank you for joining me on this journey. I’m planning for Block 3 so let me have any feedback that I can incorporate into the classes and future timetable.

There are no changes to the main timetable this week, just the addition of our monthly restorative yoga class – Wednesday 29th March – experience the effects of these soothing, quieting poses on your body and mind in this month’s class “Relax and Renew” – the antidote to stress.

I’m very excited to be offering a full day workshop “Self-care using Yoga and Fascia Therapy” – improved and updated for this year in-line with latest research. We are flexible, graceful and strong when our fasciae are healthy – in this workshop you will learn and practice techniques for relieving pain, boosting energy, easing anxiety and depression, lowering blood pressure and melting years off your body, includes workbook and self-massage kit.

BLOCK 2, 2023 – Rhythms Of Life

ON OUR MATS: Wisdom is knowing which pain is to be endured and which is not. Beginning students are the most difficult to teach, not because they don’t know the poses but because they often cannot discriminate between the pain of opening and the pain of injury. Pay attention to this distinction in your asana practice this week.

LIVING OUR YOGA: Healthy things are sometimes painful, but not all painful things are healthy. Pay attention to any discomfort you feel. Is this the pain of health or injury? Is this relationship healthy or just familiar?

Breath work, 2 full yoga classes, theory of fascia session, self-massage class and yoga nidra (yoga sleep) to finish.

Friday 14th April 9.30am to 4.30pm – reserve place now – payment not due until w/c 10th April. (7 hours – £70, includes workbook and massage kit (worth £20), tea and cake provided, bring own lunch).

Yoga, mala and mantra – make your own unique mala and use it at the end of practice to assist with our mantra recitation – dates to follow
